Jean est dépressif et ses crises de tétanie se répètent. Un séjour en hôpital psychiatrique s'impose. Au bout de trois semaines, il va mieux et tient à rentrer chez lui avec un micro-ondes, désireux de montrer à sa femme qu'il souhaite réintégrer le monde moderne. Sans argent, il a une nuit pour trouver l'appareil. Il commence par le bar où il a ses habitudes. Clotilde, une jeune femme séduisante et bien éméchée, lui propose aussitôt le sien. Mais on n'obtient rien sans efforts... He starts at his usual bar, where Clotilde, a seductive and very tipsy young woman, soon offers him hers. But you don't get anything without an effort... Nach drei Wochen geht es ihm besser, und er will mit einem Mikrowellenherd nach Hause kommen, um seiner Frau zu zeigen, daß er wieder in die moderne Welt zurückkehren möchte. Er hat kein Geld und eine Nacht Zeit, das Gerät zu finden. Er beginnt in der Bar, wo er Stammgast ist. Clotilde, eine junge verführerische und gut angetrunkene Frau bietet ihm sofort ihren an.
