Episode 1
In the premiere episode, we meet the Bachelor, Alex, and learn about his past. Alex then hosts a cocktail party and is introduced to the women for the first time. By the end of the evening, he faces the daunting task of selecting 15 whom he would like to know better, and presents each one with a single red rose. But at this point and at every point thereafter, the women can either accept or decline the Bachelor's invitation to continue on the journey.
After much deliberation, Alex offered a rose to Kim, Cathy, Trista, Amy, Alexa, LaNease, Tina, Angelique, Rhonda, Christina, Katie, Amanda, Angela, Melissa and Shannon.
The women who accepted the rose will now move into a sprawling mansion overlooking the Pacific Ocean for much of their courtship with the Bachelor.

Episode 2
First Date: Angelique, LaNease, Shannon, Kathryn, Christina
Alex's first date was to Las Vegas for a night of gaming and pleasure. While playing billiards in the penthouse suite at the Venetian hotel, Angelique made a power move and asked to see Alex in private. When the other four ladies realized that Angelique was out-smarting them, they crashed the party.
During dinner, Alex asked Shannon if she would go for a walk with him — in front of his other shocked dates. During their walk, Alex told Shannon he felt a connection with her.
Alex and his dates then went and played Blackjack in the casino; the date with the most money after twenty minutes would get a private gondola trip down the Venetian canal with Alex. LaNease won, and as they got in the gondola, the gondolier told them that it was tradition to have a kiss under each bridge they passed under. Alex and LaNease maintained the tradition, sharing several intimate kisses.

We meet Alex's friends Stephanie and Sam, who move into the guest house at the Ladies' Villa. Stephanie and Sam have created a compatibility test to give the remaining eight ladies, with a very special prize: the three women whose answers are the most compatible with Alex's will get private one-on-one dates with Alex. The other five women will share Alex in one group date.
First Date: Amanda
Amanda won the first date, and the sparks were very clearly flying. In the limousine on the way to their Sushi & Massage date, Alex and Amanda just couldn't deny their mutual attraction, and ended up making out.
During dinner, Amanda and Alex again kiss passionately, but are interrupted by a shocked and bewildered waitress. Later, they both change into Kimonos, and Alex gives Amanda a sensual massage. Alex makes a point, though, of not going to far with Amanda sexually, as he is aware that living for the moment may cause him to miss an entire future. The next morning, Amanda reveals that they were

The remaining four Bachelorettes all get a chance to say goodbye, as they vacate the Ladies' Villa to return to their hometowns and introduce Alex to their families and friends.
First Trip: Kim
Knowing he hasn't spent very much one-on-one time with Kim, Alex arrives in Phoenix, Arizona and makes a point of getting some private time with her … and the two go speed boating on a lake! They had a great time, and even managed to sneak in a kiss or three.
Afterwards, it was on to Kim's parent's house to meet the family. Alex got to spend time with Kim's mom, dad, two sisters, brother-in-law, niece and nephew. It was important to Kim to see if Alex connected well with kids, which he seemed to — up until he accidentally made her nephew cry by playing with him a little too rough. The rest of the visit was pleasant, as Alex seemed to connect well with his date's family.
Second Trip: Trista

We open in Malibu, where Alex is looking forward to the overnight dates and the opportunity to spend some real time with each of the remaining bachelorettes, but is worried about the upcoming Rose Ceremony.
First Dream Date: Amanda in New York City
Amanda is thrilled to have the chance to get closer to Alex, and this is her first time going to New York City. While taking a double-decker bus tour through the city, Alex asks some questions to Amanda — including asking her about her breasts. Amanda takes the question in stride, and admits that when she was a child, she was obsessed with Dolly Parton, and that she had an augmentation. Alex was thrilled with Amanda's honest, straight-forward, and friendly demeanor.
After a romantic ice-skating session, they go on a chilly-but-romantic horse carriage ride through Central Park, in which Alex sings a little They Might Be Giants as they discuss the pleasures of dressing-up and role playing — specifically, dressing Alex up in some Chaps!

A ""reunion"" special, of sorts, 'The Bachelor: Women Tell All' brings back the 23 women Alex rejected to ""dish"" about the experience, the other women, and the Bachelor. This special episode will reveal new footage, never before viewed behind-the-scenes clips, and one-on-one interviews between our favorite Bachelorettes and host, Chris Harrison.

In Dallas, Texas, Alex explains how he feels good about the final two women he's dating — but can't wait to find out what his family thinks of Amanda and Trista.
Alex first brings Trista home to meet his folks. Alex admits that his family is a tough group, and that his mother thinks it is too short of a time period to get to know someone. Trista and Alex arrive, and they sit down in the living room for everyone to get to know each other.
Alex's sister gets the ball rolling by asking Trista why she thinks they're compatible; Trista explains that she was impressed by his love of family, his love of travel, his attention to education, his innate athleticism, and his kindness and strength in uncomfortable situations.

In the premiere episode, we see the final stages of the casting process as the quest to find the next Bachelor draws to a close. We are introduced to the final five possible bachelors: Mark, Jason, Robert, Aaron and John.
We are then introduced to the twenty-five Bachelorettes who will be vying for the Bachelor's attention, and brought up to date on Trista, who will be on her own quest for love as The Bachelorette this January.
In an exclusive interview with Alex and Amanda, we learn that they are still together, even though Amanda is still in Kansas City, and Alex is in Los Angeles. Amanda and Alex also debunk the rumors Alex is gay once and for all. Amanda advises the next Bachelor not to make out with every girl he dates, and Alex advises him to not think too much. Alex also discussed how the hardest part of the show was having to breaku with all of the women each week. This interview marks the last time Alex and Amanda are doing a public interview about their relationship.

In the season premiere, we get to meet Aaron again, and learn what motivated him to take his quest for love on to television. As Aaron puts it, ""the timing couldn't be better."" Aaron claims he is a full 180-degrees from Alex, the first Bachelor, and will not be misleading like Alex was. Aaron admits he would have liked to have seen a proposal from Alex, and when Chris asks him, Aaron says several weeks from now, he could see himself popping the question.
Aaron is then introduced to each of the 25 Bachelorettes, as he welcomes them to the first night party. As Alex makes the rounds, Erin points out that Liangy and some of the other girls have really isolated themselves from the group. Liangy reveals that the rumor circulating through the party is that Gwen is someone Aaron already has his eye on. When pressed, Aaron admits he thinks true love may have already struck. Before entering his deliberation, Aaron plays the piano for all of his dates.

Host Chris Harrison introduces the 15 remaining women to their 'Ladies' Villa,' the fabulous Malibu mansion where they will live as they prepare for their upcoming group dates. After that, Aaron must present roses to the ten women whom he'd like to continue dating
Episode 2 begins with Chris telling the Bachelorettes they need to be packed before each Rose Ceremony. He then directs them to the first date package.
First Group Date: Del Mar Race Track Dana, Frances, Gwen, Heather, Helene
The group takes a private train to the race track. On the way, Aaron grabs some one-on-one time with Helene, but Gwen keeps a close eye on them. Aaron steps away to call Angela back at the Ladies' Villa and wish her a happy birthday. At the racetrack, the Bachelorettes all place their bets, the winner receiving a surprise. Aaron's close friends, Ryan and Melissa (siblings), move into the guest house at the Ladies' Villa to learn more about the ten women that Aaron is dating. Their observations and interactions will help him determine the women with whom he is most compatible. Some will be lucky enough to have one-on-one dates with Aaron, but others will not — which naturally sparks some jealousy in the Ladies' Villa.
Aaron's friends Melissa and Ryan (siblings to each other) arrive at the Ladies' Villa, and move in for a few days, to get the inside scoop on the ladies. They immediately give a quiz to the women, with two one-on-one dates at stake.
First One-on-One Date: Helene Shopping at Nicole Miller, and a private show at the Hollywood Bowl

The ladies sit down with Chris and are told that a personality they took during the application process for the show was actually a compatibility test, to see who is most compatible with Aaron. The three women who are the most compatible will get individual dates with Aaron, and the other three will share him on a group date.
First Individual Date: Heather Spa Evening in Santa Barbara
The other ladies are surprised when Heather gets the first date box, as they don't see Aaron and Heather together. Aaron expects that she will be very forward and try to kiss him, based on what she said in the previous night's video diary. They take a helicopter up to Santa Barbara, and Heather is smitten by Aaron — she says that she finally knows what love means. As they get massages, Heather says she is feeling an incredible attraction between them, and she can see Aaron as the man in her life. Meanwhile, Aaron describes the date as ""just fun."" As the four ladies prepare to take Aaron home to meet their families, they must also say goodbye to each other and move out of the Ladies' Villa. Meanwhile, even as relationships are growing stonger, Aaron must present roses to only the three women he would like to continue dating.
The ladies are greeted by Chris, who gives them a chance to say goodbye to each other and the Ladie's Villa, as they are moving out. The individual dates will begin with Aaron flying to each ladies' hometown to meet their parents.
First Trip: Buffalo to meet Gwen
Aaron meets Gwen, and they drive through Buffalo on the way to meet her parents Marie and Phil, her sister Mary Beth, and her friend Louise. When they sit down, Marie takes out a list of twenty questions, all of which Aaron answers quite deftly. Phil says he can see walking down the aisle to give Gwen away to Aaron. 1st we get a sneak peak at the upcoming season which promises to be full of catty women who will stop at nothing to win Jesse's heart. We see the upcoming events that include some fights, tons of gossip, and more. There even is a potential stalker who wants revenge when she is eliminated.
Then it's on to the women who are packing to leave. This also includes the new twist this season which is The Spy. This woman is Jesse's best friend's wife who is like a sister to him. She will be watching and analyzing all the bachelorettes and then report back to Jesse. It's Dating time!
The 1st date is a group date sledding and tubing in Lake Tahoe and Jesse goes with Tara, Mandy J., Katie, Celeste, Julie, Karen, and Jessica B.
The 2nd date is a solo date to dinner and an opera with Trish. Trish was chosen for Jesse because she got the 1st Impression Rose.
The 3rd date is another group date to play football and go to dinner. Jesse goes with Amber, Jenny S., Kristi, Suzie, Jesse, Anne-Catherine, Mandy, and Jean.
The spy is revealed to be Jenny S. and she warns Jesse about Trish. Her pick so far for him is Tara. Kristen tells Jesse she doesn't believe they are good for each other and tells him not to pick her in the rose ceremony. Jesse thanks her and tells her she was going to receive one that night.

In this episode Jenny, the former spy, returns to the Ladies Villa. She reveals herself to the six remaining girls and apologizes. Chris tells the girls that there will be 3 one-on-one dates and one group date and Jenny will choose who goes on which dates. Trish becomes very nervous as Jenny knows what she's really like.
1st One-on-one Date is a Football Field Picnic with Jessica B: They share a long passionate kiss on their date at the Rose Bowl.
2nd One-on-one Date is a cruise and dinner with Mandy J: They share a kiss at sunset on their cruise to Newport Beach then later get into a hot tub.
Group Date is an Indian Picnic and an Elephant Ride with Karen, Trish, and Suzie:

During this date Jesse and Jessica enjoy a day at the beach filled with fun in the sun and in the water. Later that night they have a romantic oceanside dinner followed by a night spent in a rose petal filled room where Jesse admits he only thought of Jessica.

During this date Jesse meets Mandy at the Washington Monument. When he finds her they walk to the Presidential Yacht where they enjoy a ride on the river, but Mandy doesn't seem to be able to express herself to Jesse which is turning him away from her.

A gritty warehouse is the location for a topsy-turvy roller derby with Sean and eight of the bachelorettes. At the after party that night, fireworks erupt as Robyn and Tierra clash, leading one of them to storm off, threaten to leave and then dissolve in tears. It's up to Sean again to comfort the distraught woman and to figure out if the tears are genuine or crocodile, meant to manipulate him into giving her a rose.
