Im Mittelpunkt von Ten Days in the Valley befindet sich Jane Sadler (Kyra Sedgwick), eine erfolgreiche Produzentin, die sich vor allem im Fernsehen einen Namen gemacht hat. A breakthrough in the investigation sends Detective Bird and Jane to the studio to question the production team on her hit show. Meanwhile, Pete goes on the attack in a rash display of anguish – or guilt.

Jane and Bird catch a break in the case when they revisit the scene of the Casita raid that started it all. Meanwhile, Ali learns some surprising news about Tom; and Jane discovers a shocking development about Gus.
