Bei dem Verdächtigen, den man verhaftet hatte, handelte es sich nicht um den gesuchten Wallace Hines , sondern um seinen Zwillingsbruder Jesse Gentry . Jesse muss freigelassen werden, obwohl das Team davon überzeugt ist, dass er auf irgendeine Art und Weise in den Fall verwickelt ist. Gleichzeitig erfahren Hotch und seine Kollegen, dass Hines' Mutter Carla versucht hat, Beweismittel zu vernichten.
