Der NCIS-Psychologe Nate Getz beteiligt sich bei einem Undercover-Einsatz an einem Überfall, bei dem große Mengen Sprengstoff gestohlen werden. Sam und Callen nehmen die Verfolgung auf und versuchen herauszufinden, ob Nate zu der Verbrecherbande der skrupellosen Alisa Chambers übergelaufen ist oder ob er immer noch auf der Seite der Gerechtigkeit steht.
