Danny Roberts wurde auf der Pferderennbahn erstochen. Um seine Leiche findet das FBI verschiedene, notierte Formeln. Damit konnte Danny scheinbar berechnen, wie die einzelnen Rennen ausgehen werden und so mehrere Wetten hintereinander gewinnen. Bei den Ermittlungen stoßen Don und Charlie schließlich noch auf den Namen Ivan Tabakian . Der Mann dealte mit Drogen und hatte ebenfalls großes Interesse am Glückspiel. Doch ist er auch Dannys Mörder?
