Tomoki Sakurai ist ein pubertierender Junge, der oftmals nur Perversitäten im Kopf hat und nach dem Leitsatz „Ruhe und Frieden sind das Beste“ lebt. Eines Nachts beobachtet Tomoki etwas Ungewöhnliches am Himmel, was kurze Zeit später auf der Erde aufschlägt. Es stellt sich heraus, dass es sich um ein geflügeltes und weiblich-humanoides Wesen mit dem Namen Ikaros handelt. Sie erklärt, dass sie von nun an Tomokis Dienerin ist und ihm jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Zunächst ist Tomoki zwar skeptisch, da er dadurch seine geliebte Ruhe gefährdet sieht, aber ihm wird schnell der Nutzen klar, der oftmals jedoch weitreichende Konsequenzen haben kann. Später landen noch mehr dieser Engel auf der Erde, wodurch sich Tomokis Leben abrupt ändert.

Als ihm eines Tages das Engelsmädchen Ikaros vor die Füße fällt, sich an ihn kettet und ihn zu ihrem Meister ernennt, ist es passé mit dem verträumten Teenagerleben!

Tomoki kann sein Glück nicht fassen. Der Engel, mit der betörenden Oberweite, der ihm vor die Füße gefallen ist, erklärt ihm, dass er ihr Meister sei und sie ihm jeden Wunsch erfüllen werde. Wirklich jeden?

Eishirou wundert sich: Ikaros fliegt mal eben zum Amazonas und bringt von dort einen Riesenfisch mit. Doch in Mathe ist sie erstaunlich schwach.

Liebe und Dreieck - Erneut
The flock of panties that flew off into the sky in Episode 2 have returned to Tomoki! Tomoki is estatic, but Sohara uses one of Ikaros's cards to make it so that any panties Tomoki sees will explode. Tomoki decorates his house with all of the panties, without knowing what Sohara has done. Will Tomoki be able to escape from his home with panty explosions looming around every corner? It's the first real action in "SoraOto"!

Eine heiße Nacht mit einem Promi
Long story short, Tomoki's house is destroyed. Wandering aimlessly, in search of a place to stay, Tomoki and Ikaros are lent a hand by the class president, Satsukitane. Sohara and Sugata join the mix as they are invited to the home of the town's #1 big shot. They are given a warm reception. But, when they wake up in the morning, there's an angry mob with them!

Summer vacation. The entire New World Discovery Club heads to the beach. Tomoki is surrounded by attractive girls in their swimsuits, but ends up having to deal with Ikaros. Sohara explodes with jealousy as Tomoki has his full attention on Ikaros. Ikaros shows another frightening side of herself because of a small situation and the second Angeloid...

Ikaros and Nymph also settle down in Sakurai's house. They get bored while Itsuki is at school, use a card, and transfer into his school! They instantly become popular as two new beautiful transfer students. But then what does Nymph do when she quickly gets bored at school...?

A fun festival in Sorami town. But, at the student body president's suggestion, the entire town is turned into a survival game! The winner gets $100,000! Gunfire and shrieks fill the air, and who is the mysterious old man who lurks at night? Admist the chaos, Nymph and Ikaros team up to battle for their lives!

Tomoki and the gang go to an outdoor BBQ. Tomoki tries to open a stall to make some money, but no matter what he does it fails. Then he gets Nymph's help to open a host club! Meanwhile, Ikaros is trying to act like a human for Tomoki's sake when she hears the words "It's human to lie."

Auf der Kulturmesse kommt es zum musikalischen Showdown! Ikaros ist der Star der Show, als Tomoki und die Clique eine Band zusammenstellen und gegen das klassische Orchester der nahe gelegenen Privatakademie antreten.

Egal, wie sehr ihre Freunde versuchen zu helfen, Ikaros und Nymphe können sich einfach kein Lächeln abringen. Nachdem die Angeloids beschlossen haben, das Problem gemeinsam zu lösen, laden sie Tomoki zu einem Dreier-Date in die Stadt ein!

Die Bande macht sich auf den Weg zu einem Wasserpark, und Tomoki geht undercover, um sich an so viel Fleisch wie möglich zu laben. Als sein Plan scheitert, wird er von Nymphe bestraft - obwohl sie insgeheim will, dass er ihr neuer Meister wird!

Episode 14
Mit der Hilfe von Tomoki ist es Nymph endlich gelungen, sich von ihrem Master zu befreien, sodass sie nun unbehelligt auf der Erde leben kann. Tomoki geht indes seinem Hobby nach: Er versucht in Umkleidekabinen einen flüchtigen Blick auf den von ihm verehrten weiblichen Körper zu erhaschen. Diese Episode ist der „Missing Link“ zwischen der ersten und der zweiten Angeloid-Staffel dar.
2. Staffel 2 (12 Episoden)
Tomoki Sakurais ruhiges Leben findet ein jähes Ende, als das Engelsmädchen Ikaros ihn zu ihrem Meister ernennt und ihm jeden Wünsche erfüllen will. Dem nicht genug, scheint sich das Chaos zu multiplizieren, nachdem ein weiterer Angeloid, Nymph, in sein Leben tritt. Denn plötzlich muss sich Tomoki der Yakuza, sowie der schießwütigen Bevölkerung seines Heimatortes stellen.

Zieh dich auch aus! Der nackte Held ist zurück
Tomoki has another dream where the mysterious angel warns him of another Angeloid and after revealing the information to his friends, Nymph suggests they visit his dream via Dive Game which enables them to visit humans' dreams. The group, consisting of Tomoki, Sugata, Mikako and Suhara, leave into the dream to find themselves confronted with each other's dreams and an embarrassing revelation for Suhara. Ultimately, they are unable to visit Tomoki's dream and instead land on a bizarre world with a pillar with illegible words and hibernating evergreen trees. They return with more questions than answers and Sugata finally remembers a forgotten memory a year past when Ikaros first fell onto the Earth and winesses Astraea's arrival.

Schock! Der Attentäter-Engel hat Riesenmöpse
Tomoki, much to his irritation and confusion, finds himself aroused by the antics of Ikaros and Nymph. This disturbs him greatly so he leaves for the mountains to train in the Zen monastery. At the same time, Astraea, the new angeloid lands at the monastery to dispatch Tomoki while Sugata informs the rest about her. Nymph and Ikaros ignore the threat calling Astaea an 'idiot' and leave Tomoki alone who himself is finding trouble ridding himself of his 'earthly desires'. Later, Sugata discovers Astraea and learns of the threat to Tomoki's life and more information on Synapse, the world where Angeloids come from.

Ein Kampf voll Stolz und Lust
After unexpectedly divulging information of her assignment, Astraea attempts to attack Sugata to keep her secret safe. Unfortunately, she falls into the hands of Mikako, who upon seeing the gullible nature of the new Angeloid, fools her into joining a wrestling match at the local festival. Much like last time, Mikako entices Tomoki to join by putting up a prize of ten million yen and a chance to bathe with her family's geisha. Nymph wrestles with her emotions after losing her wings and master and finds herself yearning for a new one, Tomoki being her new candidate.

Kampf auf Leben und Tod! - In der heißen Quelle bei 1,4° C unter 0
Winter comes to the city and Astraea is still far from completing her mission of eliminating Tomoki. Mikako reels her into another of her sadistic tantrums and stages a mock battle between the girls and boys of her school by appointing Tomoki as the general of the boys' group while acting as the general of the girls' group herself. This time, she entices Tomoki to fall into her trap by putting up the reward to be able to do anything to the losing team. Nymph still yearns for a new master and Astraea faces a dilemma when she is unable to dispatch Tomoki due to his question to her actions being her own choice or not.

Der Bruder, der vom Himmel herabgestiegen kam
Sugata and Sohara travel to Synapse with the aid of Nymph. Sohara accidentally drops an object onto the world below which falls into the hands of Tomoki who fashions it into a pedal bike that transforms into a robot. At Synapse, the two humans learn new details about the New World while Tomoki relishes his time with his new toy to satisfy his perverse actions. Sohara later destroys the toy and a new Angeloid is revealed post credits.

Entscheide dich zwischen Himmel und Hölle
Astraea gets enrolled at Tomoki's school and tries unsuccessfully to dispatch of him. Later on, Nymph, Mikako, Sohara, Tomoki and Astraea join in a quiz competition to determine that Tomoki himself is not an 'idiot' as labeled by his schoolmates. His attempt proves futile and the events leave him to be an 'idiot' to the whole city than just in the school before. Astraea finds herself spending time with the group and acceptance which adds onto her dilemma and Daedalus discovers that Chaos, the new second generation Angeloid has been sent to Earth.

Tomoki, die fressende Wassermelone
Obwohl sie wissen, dass es ein riskantes Unterfangen ist, beschließen Astraea und Nymph, Ikaros Wassermelonenfeld zu überfallen. Währenddessen geraten Sugata und Nymphe in große Gefahr, nachdem sie Synapse infiltriert haben.

Die Zeit ist gekommen, in der Astraea eine Entscheidung treffen muss. Wird sie dem Gebot des Himmelsmeisters folgen und Ikaros und Nymph ein für alle Male vernichten? Oder wird sie auf Tomoki hören und die Kraft finden, ihr eigenes Schicksal zu wählen?

Heftiger Kampf! Fischen auf dem Jumbo-Karneval der Träume
Während des Sommerfestes organisiert Mikako einen Angelwettbewerb im Schwimmbad. Es gibt nur einen Weg zu gewinnen: Den größten Fang an Land zu ziehen! Später versucht Ikaros herauszufinden, wie sie ihr Taschengeld am besten ausgeben kann.

Spanne ins Fantasy Field
Sohara lehrt Ikaros, was es mit der Ehe auf sich hat. In der Zwischenzeit gibt Tomoki seinem Sommerprojekt den letzten Schliff: Ein riesiges Netzwerk aus periskopartigen Schläuchen, mit dem er Mädchen in der ganzen Stadt beobachten kann.

Das Ende eines wahllosen Requiems
Tomoki greift ein, als Ikaros, Nymph und Astraea im Kampf gegen das Chaos überwältigt werden. Nach dem Ende des Kampfes sieht es so aus, als ob friedliche Tage bevorstünden - bis klar wird, dass Ikaros immer noch in einer schweren Krise steckt.

Sie schlagen kräftig mit ihren Flügeln in Richtung morgen
Tomoki sorgt bei den Mädchen im Schwimmunterricht für Aufsehen, als er sich in Wasser verwandelt. Später begibt sich die Clique zu einer Hochzeit - aber wer wird vor den Traualtar treten?

Project Pink
Nach den Ereignissen in Sora no Otoshimono hat sich Nymph dank der Hilfe von Tomoki Sakurai endlich aus den Fängen ihres Masters befreien können und lebt nun friedlich auf der Erde. Dennoch beneidet sie ihre Engelschwester Ikaros, die weiterhin Befehle von ihrem Herren entgegennehmen kann. Selbstverständlich kann es Tomoki nicht lassen jede Menge Unfug anzustellen und mittels der Verwandlungsapparatur von Ikaros insbesondere in den Umkleidekabinen der Damen einen Blick zu riskieren. Ihm langt das jedoch noch lange nicht, sodass er ein Ziel ins Auge fasst: Spannen im Schwimmbad, wo alle Frauen eh schon knapp bekleidet sind. Na ob das mal gut geht?

Final - Eternal My Master Special
Nicht veröffentlichte und auch unanimierte letzte OVA von Sora no Otoshimono.
Die Folge knüpft direkt an die Geschehnisse des letzten Films, "Sora no Otoshimono Final: Eternal my Master" an. Es ist somit der wohlverdiente Abschluss für die Anime Reihe die sonst nur den Lesern des Mangas vorbehalten war.
