Dakteo Yibangin
Als Kind werden Park Hoon (Lee Jong Suk) und sein Chirurgenvater für eine Geheimoperation nach Nordkorea verschleppt. Danach verhindern Intrigen am Myungwoo University Hospital — dem früheren Arbeitsplatz des Vaters — die Rückkehr. Unter seiner Anleitung wird Hoon ein brillanter Chirurg und plant die Flucht in den Süden mit seiner Liebe Song Jae Hee (Jin Se Yeon). Die Flucht gelingt, doch sie werden getrennt. An der neuen Klinik trifft er Dr. Han Seung Hee (ebenfalls Jin Se Yeon), Jae Hees Doppelgängerin, die ihn abstreitet.
