„Hebburn“ ist eine warmherzige und liebevolle Geschichte über das Familienleben im Nordosten Englands. Ben and Susan are immersed in Geordie culture with Ramsey's help as well as with Vicky and Denise's choice of outfits for the fancy dress competition at Swayze's.

The Geordie answer to Thelma and Louise are on the road; Dot buys Vicki a new car and nearly drives her off a mental cliff.
