Die Menschheit in der Zukunft. Einst drohte eine große Alienarmee unsere Erde zu erobern, ehe ein Pakt die Invasion verhinderte. Nun gilt es diesen Pakt zu erfüllen. Es wird ein großes universales Rennen auf den Planeten Oban stattfinden. Das Team, welches diese Rennserie gewinnt, hat die Macht sich ein Wunsch zu erfüllen. Und jede Rasse hat da so ihre eigenen Pläne! So weiß auch die fünfzehnjährige Eve nichts von diesem Pakt, als sie sich auf den Weg macht, ihren Vater zu besuchen, der sie einst als kleines Kind in ein Heim steckte. Als sie ihn schließlich gefunden hat, muss sie feststellen, dass er sie anscheinend nicht erkennt. Um dennoch bei ihm zu bleiben, stellt sie sich ihm als eine Mechanikerin namens Molly vor. Wie es das Schicksal will, fällt deren einziger Rennpilot aus und da Molly die einzige ist, die Rennqualitäten besitzt, wird sie kurzerhand zur Pilotin erklärt... so beginnt ein großes Abenteuer für sie und ihre Crew, ohne zu wissen, welch große Last auf ihr liegt!

Nun ist die Zeit gekommen für die Piloten der Galaxie, in einem neuen Rennen gegeneinander anzutreten, und die Erde ist mit ihrem spektakulären Sternrenner „Whizzing Arrow“ mehr als bereit. Gebaut und gewartet von Rennlegende Don Weis Team aus Ingenieuren und Mechanikern, ist der „Whizzing Arrow“ die einzige Hoffnung der Erde gegen die Vernichtung durch den größten Feind, den die Welt je gesehen hat – das bedrohliche Crog-Imperium.

Episode 1
Twenty-five years after a mysterious being called 'The Avatar' averted war between Earth and the Crogs, Earth is invited to participate in "The Great Race of Oban", a competition held once every 10,000 years. Meanwhile, a young girl escapes from her boarding school on a journey to find the father she hasn't seen in 10 years...

Episode 2
The race championships are about to begin, and Eva is impressed by one Prince Aikka, but when the Earth team's turn comes up, Eva has a strange dream showing that Rick and Jordan are about to crash. Can she find some way to help keep this dream from coming true?

Episode 3
The Earth team is without a pilot, so Molly decides to practice and take the controls. Don Wei tries all the other team members instead, but when Molly sneaks into the race, he is unable to stop her. Will Molly and Jordan be able to win the rematch against an angry Grooor who feels they cheated him out of his win?

Episode 4
Don Wei discovers that if the Earth team withdraws, then the Earth could be destroyed, so he reluctantly places Molly in charge of the piloting duties. But as round two begins, it's clear that the Earth team is at a disadvantage, as mysterious obstacles keep jumping in their way. Can Molly find some way to turn the tide of the race?

Episode 5
Ceres, a creature made of sound, is the Earth team's opponent in the third round, but he won't be up against the regular team. Rick has returned and appears to be better than ever. However, when mysterious nerve attacks begin bothering Rick, it's up to Molly to find some way to resume piloting duties in the middle of the race. Can she find some way to get her team the win?

Episode 6
Jordan believes that he and Molly need a rest from all of the intense racing they've survived. Para-dice, a cat-like creature and a racing prodigy, deceives the two of them into a racing arcade. They are unaware of the arcade being linked up to the Arrow II, and they almost destroy it while it is in the garage. Even with a damaged Star-Racer, can Molly out-race Para-dice in the arena?

Episode 7
The playoffs have begun, and there are six teams left. Prince Aikka is defeated by a shadow-like creature, Spirit. Molly must now race Colonel Toros of the Krogs. His ship is superior in offensive power and speed, but can Molly hang in there and win?

Episode 8
Prince Aikka now faces Molly in the next round. Aikka says that he has been ordered to eliminate her, but Molly compromises, saying that she won't use weapons. Aikka agrees not to attack her if she doesn't, but will the rest of the Earth Team agree?

Episode 9
Molly is ordered by Don Wei to go under strict training by Rick since she has failed to follow orders as of late. While training with Rick, Molly learns to concentrate and focus while racing. The next opponent is Super-Racer, and the Earth Team must win to stay in the playoffs. Can Molly outrace Super-Racer?

Episode 10
The Earth Team must win their next race to stay in the playoffs. They now face Rush, a creature who is large and powerful, just like his Star-Racer that moves by propelling magma in its engines. This race is a target race, and whoever has the most targets is the victor. Can Molly and Jordan outshoot Rush?

Episode 11
Going into the fifth round of the playoffs, the Earth team is tied with Super Racer and Aikka at 2 wins and 2 losses. Their next opponent is a bizarre alien named Spirit, whom Molly thinks is responsible for her mother's death. Overcome with rage, Molly is prepared to do whatever it takes to get revenge. Does this spell disaster for the Earth team?

Episode 12
The Earth Team's Star-Racer is demolished, and Stan and Koji reluctantly rely on the Scrubs for help. Molly, meanwhile, prepares to confront Don Wei about her being his daughter. Will she be brave enough to tell him?

Episode 13
The Earth Team must race their sixth race, which is determined at random. It turns out that they must race against Toros. Can their new Star-Racer, the Whizzing Arrow 3, stand against Toros?

Episode 14
At long last, Team Earth has made it to Planet Oban, where the grand finals take place. Before proper introductions and "reunions" are made, the races immediately go underway. With new and old rivals to face, a new "points" rule for each round, and no time to study the courses, things are bound to be really intense for Molly and Co. as the race to the Ultimate Prize continues...

The second race of Oban is starting, and Molly and Jordan have a skirmish and a disagreement with Lord Furter, an alien pirate. Will he resort to crude tactics in the race?

Molly and Jordan have quite a time in the fourth race, can they overcome their internal and external conflicts to gain at least one point?

Episode 17
Molly vows to win the next race at the snow territory of Planet Oban. However, a machine racer, Ondai, has other ideas. Meanwhile, the plot thickens for Don Wei when he learns that his daughter had ran off from the boarding school back on Earth. How long until he finally finds out that Molly and Eva are one and the same?

Episode 18
The finals continue as the Earth Team has finally begun to catch up in the rankings. They soon face a bug racer, whose quest for the Ultimate Prize may not be so different from Molly's. Meanwhile, Don Wei is still haunted at the possibility that Molly may very well be his long-forgotten daughter Eva, and how such a possibility could effect the purpose of why they're racing in the first place.

The next race takes place in Oban's center, where the stakes are high, as future planets exist around them. Will Molly be able to win, or is the drama involving Aikka's change toward her too much to bear? Will Jordan finally have the courage to ask Molly if she likes him?

Episode 20
Prince Aikka forms a pact with two other teams to take out the leading racer, Sul, from the rankings. However, a hidden force behind the scenes may already have that planned as the sixth race commences...

When Don Wei breaks it to Eva that he's found out she is his daughter, Eva is infuriated with his attempts to run away from his life after Maya's death. And the next race also will impact their emotions...

Episode 22
In the previous episode, Molly (Eva) and Jordan had fallen deep into the ravine. They journey across Oban in order to get back to the temple before the start of the next race. During their trek, they have another encounter with the native beings of Oban. A shattering secret concerning the Ultimate Prize is learned as well...

Episode 23
Nothing is clear to Eva anymore. Personally, she doesn't see why she would want to race anymore, since she is unable to revive her mother because of what the Ultimate Prize's nature reveals. However, she can't throw everything away, since a Crog victory would lead to Earth being obliterated. Eva must stop Kross from winning.

Episode 24
After discovering the reality of the Ultimate Prize, Kross goes on a rampage and takes all of the racers down in the final race. Eva is the only one who stands against him in his path to victory.
25
Episode 25
Canaletto is free, and in order to stop him from destroying everything that "interferes with destiny," as he says, the remaining racers team up to stop him. Canaletto releases his fury, and it's up to one racer to sacrifice themself to save the galaxy and stop Canaletto.

Episode 26
As Eva, Jordan, and Aikka make their way through the temple and try to survive against Canaletto's ungodly evil, they must also try to get to the Creators to stop Canaletto. Canaletto is after Eva, and startling revelations and epilogues take place.
