Inhaltsbeschreibung
Teenagerin Go Hye Mi (Bae Suzy) träumt von der Juilliard und einer Karriere als klassische Sängerin. Doch als ihr wohlhabender Vater bankrottgeht und vor Kredithai‑Schulden flieht, bleibt sie zurück, um aufzuräumen. Ein Geldeintreiber rät ihr zur Kirin Arts High: Dort zur K‑Pop‑Idol ausbilden lassen und die Schulden mit Plattenverkäufen tilgen. Hye Mi verabscheut den Plan, stimmt aber zu, als er droht, die kleine Schwester schuften zu lassen. Nach dem Vorsingen trifft sie auf Mitschüler wie den angehenden Tänzer Jin Guk (Taecyeon) und Kim Pil Sook (IU), die ihren Blick für Musik und Bühne weiten. Trotz holprigen Starts kommt sie Jin Guk näher — und ihr Leben nimmt eine neue Richtung.
