Der Agent Jahil bietet ebenfalls seine Hilfe an und schlägt vor, die Gruppe zu managen. Davon ist Carlotta – seine ehemalige Geliebte – allerdings wenig begeistert. Simone wird mit einer Drogenüberdosis ins Krankenhaus eingeliefert. Sie schwebt zwischen Leben und Tod, und die Ärzte kämpfen mit allen Mitteln, um sie zu retten. Carlotta gibt sich im Krankenhaus als Simones Mutter aus und wacht an ihrer Seite. Als Carlottas Tochter endlich Star erreicht und ihr vom kritischen Zustand ihrer Schwester erzählt, eilt diese sofort zu ihr. When Mateo pulls a shocking stunt to reveal Star's pregnancy, the social media trolls go wild. Meanwhile, Simone faces a choice between her marriage and career, Carlotta and Cassie continue to battle it out and Maurice and Cassie team up for an unlikely ploy. In an attempt to "go legit," Cassie embarks on a new venture with a businessman, that interferes with Carlotta's work. Carlotta returns to Gravity Records, but finds out a lot has changed. Star meets Jackson's mother, Becky, and makes a shocking discovery. Meanwhile, Alex attempts to trust her family again, Cassie and Maurice's relationship reaches new heights and Noah grapples with his reality after a visit from his mother, Dianne. Simone and Alex prepare to compete against newcomer Amber for their ASA performance. Noah's father, Bobby, returns to help Noah with his sobriety and fatherhood. To campaign for the ASA Awards, Gravity throws an Easter brunch showcasing their artists, but as the awards draw nearer, the future of Take 3 and their solo careers are on the line. As the label faces possible bankruptcy, Carlotta must rally the troops to woo Empire executive, Giselle, in hopes she will invest. Star struggles to juggle Davis and her career, and clashes with Noah's mom, Dianne. Meanwhile, Alex plans for her future and Simone doubles down on her activism, which puts Angel in danger.

Episode 17

Everyone is on edge, but the girls must stay focused on the events leading up to the ASAs. Star and Noah struggle with parenthood while being in the spotlight, as Alex deals with her father's retaliation for her refusing his "gifts." Meanwhile, Cassie continues to manage Rashad's music career and Carlotta makes a shocking discovery that will change the lives of many.
