A British citizen is murdered in the small town Norrbacka and Sophie Borg is in charge of the investigation. From the victim's hometown of English St. Ives, CDI Tom Brown comes to help with the investigation. Both Tom and Sophie have used up their boss's patience and now they need to work together not just to solve the case, but also to save their own careers.

Episode 2
Murder victim Colin visited the tomb of Björn Arnesen before his murder. What connects Björn and Colin? The clues lead to a language trip in the 1980s. As it turns out Sophie's mother Kristina also participated. Now Sophie has to talk to her mother, whom she hasn't spoken to for 16 yeas.

Episode 3
The Norrbackapolis continues to check the participants on the language trip and what actually happened in St. Ives in the 1980s. Arnesen's dad seems to hide something and Sophie defies her boss's orders and makes a public appeal, something that neither benefits her nor the investigation.

Tom and Sophie discover a hidden space in a shed belonging to the murder-suspect Åke. Sophie gets fired after not following orders and having shot Arne Arnesen. However, she can not let go of the job and continues the investigation on her own. A new body is found and the investigation is gaining momentum.

Tom und Sophie reisen nach England, um die Witwe des Opfers zu befragen. Zurück in Schweden mischt sich ein gefeierter Kriminalreporter ein – zu sehr.
