True is determined to save her school's design department from budget cuts and decides to hold a fundraising concert. As she searches for a big performer to headline the concert, Lulu offers little help as she is more focused on trying to find alone time with Mikey J. Just when it looks as though Ryan's mediocre magic act is her only option for a headliner, pop sensation Justin Bieber agrees to perform. All seems fine until last minute problems have the students scrambling to save the show and their school's design department. Brooklyn tween punk rock band Care Bears on Fire also make an appearance in the episode and perform their hit song "Everybody Else."

True's crushing on a new boy at school named Justin (Tyler James Williams), but when she finally gets the courage to ask him out, he turns her down. True and Lulu suspect he's dating someone until True discovers his big secret. In an attempt to show True his romantic side, Justin enlists the help of superstar Natasha Bedingfield to perform "These Words" for the duo. Back at the office, Mr. Madigan takes casual dress day too far and Amanda can't handle it. Meanwhile, a statistics class has uncovered a special connection between Mikey J and Kelsey (Jordan Monaghan) that has Lulu and Ryan seething with jealousy.

When True learns of Max's hatred for Burt Burlington, True must sneak onto Burt's parade float to retrieve the jacket. However, in the tussle to get the jacket back, True accidently pushes Burt off and saves the day by taking his place and riding on the float.

Echt dramatisch
Ryan directs the school play and tries to please leading lady Kelsey at all costs, even if it means upsetting True and Lulu. So True makes a deal with Pinky (Jeanette McCurdy) to get back at Ryan.

Mr. Madigan muss nachsitzen
Max must report to detention at True's school after he eats a flash drive containing her homework. Meanwhile, True and Lulu sneak into their closed office building to get a design they need.

True, Lulu and Ryan must mentor incoming freshman for a day. True decides to take her little buddy, Molly, to work with her, although she is shy. While there, Molly criticizes True's new dress after being asked her opinion. True later learns to accept it, and makes a better dress with a new fabric. Meanwhile, Lulu's little buddy, 35 year old Babs teaches her about life. Also, Ryan's little buddy, Nate, gets him into all kinds of trouble, until he finally gets him busted.

Valentinstag
True and Jimmy go the Valentine's dance just as friends, even though they both want to admit they have feelings for each other and also True tries to pair Ms. Park with Mr. Jamerson. Meanwhile, Amanda keeps sending herself flowers from Brock Champion, and everyone calls her crazy. But she actually meant Brock, whom first appeared in episode "The Dance" who she dated for 19 days, until he left to play baseball in Peru. He reappears at the end while Amanda is talking to True and Lulu, and he asks her to marry him. Also, Ryan finds out Kelsey likes him, and Mikey J. writes a song for Lulu

In the aftermath of Valentine's Day, True and Jimmy prepare to go on their first date, just as Max implements new rules banning Mad Style employees from dating each other. Meanwhile, Amanda begins planning her wedding to Brock with little advice from Doris.

When True and Lulu talk about Doris' attractive assistant librarian, True is dragged into Max and Doris' relationship problems. Meanwhile, Ryan opens a rash museum after noticing that his rash resembles Taylor Swift.

Das ist denkbar schlechtes Timing, da sie gerade an einem wichtigen neuen Duft für die Firma arbeitet. Währenddessen träumt Lulu romantisch von Ryan und fühlt sich in seiner Gegenwart unwohl. Als sie Mikey J. davon erzählt, fordert dieser Ryan zu einem Boxkampf heraus.

Max fordert die Mitarbeiter von Mad Style zu einem Wettbewerb um den besten Streich heraus. Doch True und Lulu treiben es zu weit, als sie glauben, Max spiele ihnen in der Schule mit einem gefälschten Test einen Streich.

Die jährliche Rock-Modenschau „Mad Rocks“ steht an und Lulu will sie organisieren. Doch True kennt Lulus Unzuverlässigkeit und misstraut ihr. Als sie heimlich lauscht, bringt sie die Show fast zum Platzen. Um alles zu retten, versucht sie, Jimmys Band „Fire & Ice“ wieder zu vereinen. Unterdessen ist Max im Urlaub, behält die Firma aber durch einen Kamera-Helm, den Amanda trägt, im Auge.

Max veranstaltet einen Jahrmarkt bei Mad Style, auf dem sich True und Jimmy näherkommen. Als Max die beiden beim Küssen erwischt, verlangt er, dass einer von ihnen bis zum Ende des Tages kündigen muss. Da aber keiner von beiden seinen Job aufgeben will, schafft Max schließlich das Verbot von Beziehungen unter Mitarbeitern ab. Währenddessen hat Ryan Schwierigkeiten, für Kelsey einen Teddybären zu gewinnen. Amanda, die mit all dem nichts zu tun haben will, bleibt auf der Suche nach Kaffee in einer Hüpfburg stecken und hat am Ende wider Erwarten doch Spaß.

True ist mit den Aufgaben des Tages völlig überfordert: Sie muss ihre Fahrprüfung ablegen, ein Kleid für eine Sweet-16-Party entwerfen, Jimmys Vater vom Flughafen abholen und obendrein eine Überraschungsparty für Jimmy planen. Unterdessen ahnt Max nicht, dass die vermeintliche „Glückshose“, die er mit seinen Freunden teilt, in Wahrheit gar kein Glück bringt. Ryan wiederum macht sich Sorgen um einen murmelgroßen Knubbel an seinem Arm.

True und Lulu versuchen, sich aus dem Büro zu schleichen, um B.o.B.-Tickets zu ergattern. Dabei müssen sie absolut leise sein, um Amanda nicht zu stören, die unter schwerer Migräne leidet. Außerdem erlaubt True der Mädchen-Fußballmannschaft ihres Onkels Troy, eine Geburtstagsparty bei Mad Style zu feiern. Unterdessen verbringen Ryan, Jimmy und Max den Tag in einem Comicladen in New Jersey.

True landet in der Lokalzeitung und wird vom berühmten Schauspieler Leon Thomas (Leon Thomas III) zu einer Filmpreisverleihung eingeladen, was Jimmy eifersüchtig macht. In der Zwischenzeit versuchen Max und Ryan, ein berühmtes Hundemodel als Gesicht für die neue Hundefliegen-Kollektion von Mad Style zu gewinnen.

Trues Klasse macht einen Ausflug in ein Freilichtmuseum zur Kolonialzeit. Dort will True, dass Jimmy sie im berühmten Liebesturm küsst, damit sie für immer zusammenbleiben. Lulu vermutet, dass der Darsteller von Benjamin Franklin in Wirklichkeit der Star ihrer Lieblingsserie ist.

Ryan übernimmt die Position des kommissarischen Schulleiters, nachdem er Direktor Ruckman im Wissenschaftslabor verletzt hat. Doch seine Macht steigt ihm bald zu Kopf: Er verordnet den Lehrern dauerhaftes Nachsitzen und nur Lulu kann ihn aufhalten. Währenddessen entdecken True und Jimmy, dass Amanda vier weitere Jobs in dem Gebäude hat, in dem sich Mad Style befindet.
