Park Do Ra ist eine kluge, mutige Frau mit einer schwierigen Persönlichkeit, die eine Top-Schauspielerin wurde, weil ihre Mutter, Park Mi Ja, sagte, dies sei der einzige Weg, der Armut zu entkommen. Dank Do Ras Erfolg umgibt sich Mi Ja stets mit Luxus, sogar mehr als jeder Topstar. Doch Mi Ja will mehr. Do Ra kommt mit ihrem engen Zeitplan aufgrund von Mi Jas Wünschen nicht zurecht und will ihr neues Drama „Straightforward Romance“ aufgeben, aber sie kann nicht, weil sie ihre erste Liebe, Go Pil Seung, den Regieassistenten, trifft. Pil Seung ist leidenschaftlich in seinem Job, versucht aber, „Straightforward Romance“ wegen Do Ra zu verlassen, die ihm in seiner Jugend sehr wichtig war.
