Miss Monochrome
Nachdem Miss Monochrome ein Mädchen, das sie unter der Brücke fand, bei sich eingestellt hat, erzählt sie ihr, dass sie ein Idol werden möchte. Ihre Angestellte sagt, sie bräuchte einen Manager und für 19,3 Milliarden Yen wird sie diesen Job übernehmen. Miss Monochrome zahlt diese Summe, doch sie wird hintergangen und findet sich auf der Straße wieder. Als sie einem Supermarktmanager über den Weg läuft, bittet sie ihn sofort um Arbeit und ihre Arbeit als Kassiererin beginnt.

Miss Monochrome suggests to Maneo that she wants to appear on a drama at the convenience store where he's employed as a manager. Maneo gets straight to business and comes back with a role where she will act like a mannequin.

Vengeance
Aliens come to Earth to enjoy their first human hunt in hundreds of millions of years. Right around then, Maneo and Miss Monochrome are captivated by a golden AA battery in a show window in the shopping district.

Metamorphose
Monochrome notices a nendoroid of the super idol Kikuko in a toy shop's show window and requests a nendoroid version of herself from Maneo, but his efforts are in vain.

Halloween
Maneo brings a Halloween cosplay party job to Monochrome, who is watching Super Idol Kikuko's concert airing on a TV on the street.

Miss Monochrome says she will work hard and do anything to Maneo and asks him to get her work. She does everything at her own pace, the same as ever, and angers the director at her drama shoot.

Miss Monochrome wakes up in a small apartment room. She's an android and an idol. Her goal is to compete against super idol KIKUKO. She decides to go on tour to gather fans, and to make an album to go on tour with.

Promoter
Miss Monochrome, Maneo, and Ru-chan discuss the creation of an album and her live tour in the convenience store office. When they are boggled by how much they don't know, Super Idol Kikuko's manager, Mana-chan, appears before them. She says they are missing a promoter who will make all the arrangements for her concerts, and announces that she will take the job. Next, she claims she will need another 700 million yen. Unable to come up with that much money, Miss Monochrome goes to a certain mountain pass to search for a promoter on her own.

Promoter Yayoi Konno tells Miss Monochrome, the active idol and a part-time convenience store worker, that it's time for them to reserve venues for her live tour and asks if she has any requests. Miss Monochrome throws out exaggerated dreams like "All the famous domes and halls in the country" and "150,000 small venues" as a joke. Incredibly, Yayoi shows how skilled she is by jumping into her car, driving all over with her engine roaring, and actually reserving them all. Next, Miss Monochrome and Maneo meet with Yayoi in the convenience store office and begin their live performance-centered meeting.

Miss Monochrome and her coworker Akiko have a jam session behind the convenience store. Both Maneo and Yayoi are content and praise how great it sounds. When Miss Monochrome and the others return to the office, they discuss creating goods to sell at her live concerts. It's an exciting promo-items meeting where ideas like Reversi, Rubik's Cubes, glow sticks, towels, T-shirts, and come up like rapid-fire. But when Akiko proposes guitar picks, Miss Monochrome immediately says they're unnecessary...

Scout
Miss Monochrome and the others hold a concert production meeting in the conference room of Heimin Records, where Yayoi works. While Yayoi is away, Miss Monochrome wins and returns with the Woose-demy Award for Best Mannequin Act from the world of dreams and illusions, and jokingly brings up the idea of a live-concert master of ceremonies. Meanwhile, Yayoi proposes a production that puts the band members in the spotlight. The coworker Akiko is eager to do a guitar solo and starts to show off her incredible guitar technique, but this leaves Miss Monochrome with a dubious look on her face.

Showdown
Ru-chan is put in charge of the live-tour band and lighting, and Miss Monochrome and the others have hired dancers on their frivolous budget. Miss Monochrome goes to the TV studio for a filming job, when Producer Takashita introduces her to the idol group "Caramel" that has just debuted. Miss Monochrome and Yui, Akemi, Kana, and Atsuko from Caramel all perform a mannequin act together. When Producer Takishita commends her for looking out for her juniors, Miss Monochrome gets smug and starts acting patronizing to them.

Again
Miss Monochrome und die Caramel-Mädchen Yui, Akemi, Kana und Atsuko proben wie besessen die Tanz-Performance für ihre erste Live-Tour. On a drizzley morning, Miss Monochrome wakes up in her four and a half tatami-mat sized apartment. When she tries to change her battery, a leak in her roof causes her battery box to explode. What should appear from the smoke of the explosion but a good-looking guy in the form of a battery! Miss Monochrome and Battery-kun are shocked by this destined encounter. Thus begins their days of friendship.
