Starmyu
Starmyu erzählt die Geschichte von fünf Schülern: Yuuta Hoshitani, Tooru Nayuki, Kaito Tsukigami, Kakeru Tengenji und Shuu Kuga. Sie alle kämpfen darum, der Ayanagi Academy beizutreten, welche sich auf die Musik spezialisiert hat. Die jungen Männer müssen nun von der Star Frame Class akzeptiert werden, welche direkt von Mitgliedern der Kaou-Kai unterrichtet wird. Zu den Kaou-Kai gehören die Talentiertesten aus der Musikabteilung und die somit an der Spitze der Rangliste stehen. Glücklicherweise werden Yuuta und die anderen dann von Itsuki Ootori entdeckt, einem Mitglied der Kaou-Kai.

Episode 1
Um dem Oberschüler nachzueifern, den er zu seiner Mittelschulzeit traf, schreibt sich Yuta Hoshitani an der renommierten Ayanagi-Akademie ein, einer Musikschule, die für ihr intensives Training bekannt ist. Da er weiß, dass sein Vorbild aus der Musical-Abteilung stammte, stellt er sich dem extrem schwierigen Vorsprechen. Doch seinem Traum steht eine Gruppe im Weg, die an der Spitze der Schule regiert und ihn mit funkelnden Augen mustert: der Kao Council!

Nachdem Hoshitani Teil von „Team Otori“ unter der Leitung des Kao-Ratsmitglieds Otori wurde, darf er weiterhin Anwärter der Musical-Abteilung bleiben. Doch obwohl es seinen Teamkollegen Nayuki, Tengenji, Tsukigami und Kuga nicht an Können mangelt, hat jeder von ihnen mit Problemen zu kämpfen. Trotz der angespannten Atmosphäre beginnt Otori das Training auf unkonventionelle Weise: „Auf geht's, Jungs. Lasst uns spielen!“

Während Hoshitani weiterhin sein Bestes gibt, berührt er nach und nach die Herzen der Mitglieder von Team Otori. Einzig Tsukigami weigert sich, mit ihnen zusammenzuarbeiten. Geplagt von dem Druck, als Spross einer berühmten Musikerfamilie zu gelten, und einem Minderwertigkeitskomplex gegenüber seinem älteren Bruder leidet Tsukigami im Stillen. Als Hoshitani von dessen Notlage erfährt, ist er ratlos. Und schließlich tritt das Star-Team schlechthin auf den Plan: Team Hiragi!

Hoshitani hat sein erstes Semester als Anwärter für die Musical-Abteilung gut überstanden. Aber schon im zweiten Semester steht die nächste Prüfungsphase bevor. Auf Otoris Vorschlag hin beschließt Team Otori daher, in den Sommerferien ein Trainingslager in einer Villa in den Bergen zu veranstalten. Was sie dort wohl erwartet? Ein verlassenes Haus? Ein Bär? Oder gar unerwartete Begegnungen?!

Der Auftritt beim Ayanagi-Festival rückt näher und Team Otori stürzt sich ins Training. Eines Tages stellt Hiragi Otori zur Rede und erklärt, dass die Anwesenheit seines Teams die Traditionen und Standards der Ayanagi-Akademie gefährde. Otori wird vor eine schwere Wahl gestellt: Soll er sein eigenes Genie nutzen oder den fünf Jungen helfen, deren Zukunft gerade erst wie Sternenstaub zu leuchten beginnt? Angesichts dieser Entscheidung kommt die verborgene Vergangenheit von Otori und Hiragi ans Licht.

Wie aus dem Nichts verlässt Otori die Schule. Hoshitani, der nichts davon wusste, ist verwirrt, verärgert und voller Zweifel. Doch die Prüfungsvorstellung wartet nicht! Um nicht an den Gedanken daran zu zerbrechen, muss Team Otori seine Sorgen verdrängen und weitermachen. In dieser Situation schlägt Nayuki einen Ausflug vor, um Hoshitani aufzuheitern.

Für die fünf Mitglieder von Team Otori geht das Leben weiter. Eines Tages beauftragt Hiragi sie mit einer außerschulischen Aktivität: Sie sollen als Mitarbeiter bei einer professionellen Musical-Produktion aushelfen. Dort treffen Hoshitani und die anderen auf niemand Geringeren als den „Prinzen der Musical-Welt“! Hoshitani ist mit seinen Gedanken jedoch noch immer bei einer Frage: „Otori-senpai, warum hast du uns verlassen ...?“ Bald findet er heraus, dass Otori sie nur zu ihrem Schutz verlassen hat!

2. STARMYU Season 2 (12 Episoden)
Für die Jungs geht es zum Trainingslager raus aufs Land. Dort müssen sie verschiedene Aufgaben meistern und auch das ungewohnte Landleben überleben.

Episode 1
Hoshitani Yuta and the other members of Team Otori have successfully overcome the trials of their first year and made it into Ayanagi Academy's musical department. A new school year begins and there is much excitement in the air as the department prepares for its annual graduation celebration performance for its upcoming graduating third years, which includes Otori, Hiragi, and the other members of the Kao Council as the stars. The musical, "Shadow & Lights" even offers the second years a chance to shine but before Hoshitani and the others can stand on stage with their former coach they will need to overcome the other teams as well. Now, the curtain has risen on a new stage!

Episode 2
The competition for the five second year training roles in the much-anticipated school musical "Shadow & Lights" is set to begin. This time, however, the boys are being mentored by former alumni who know the musical better than anyone. These experienced graduates are known as the Ancients and include former members of the Kao Council from Tsukigami Kaito's older brother's generation. Hoshitani and the others are ready to take on the challenge but one student, Ageha Riku of Team Yuzuriha, will stop at nothing to follow in the footsteps of his idol, Tsukigami Haruto. A new set of trials begin as each boy longs to stand in the spotlight alongside their admired mentors.

Episode 3
While practices for the training roles are underway with guidance from the Ancients, Hoshitani spends his days receiving strict special guidance from Uozumi due to his lack of acting skills. To lighten things up a bit, Tatsumi and Sawatari suggest going to the middle school's drama club performance for a change of scenery. The joyous mood of the event is threatened when one of the performers in the play drops out due to illness. When Sawatari suddenly recommends Hoshitani as the replacement he worries about his lack of skills but with the encouragement of his friends he steps out on stage. Will the show be a success?

Hoshitani nimmt sich Agehas Worte zu Herzen und versucht, bei seinen Freunden Erklärungen für den Hass, der ihm entgegen schwingt. Tegnenji hat es dagegen schon geschafft: er spielt die Hauptrolle in einer modernen Gothic Kabuki Show.

Kaito has found himself in a slump going up against Ageha, who is copying his older brother
Haruto's performance. Noticing this, Uozumi pulls Kaito and Hoshitani aside and suggests that they switch the roles that they are going to be auditioning for. This obviously upsets Kaito, who took on the most difficult role for both his team and for himself, and he is unable to be swayed. This situation sends a wave of dissonance throughout all the teams as the boys struggle to find their motivations for the upcoming auditions. Will they be able to overcome their anxiety?

Als Hoshitani bemerkt, dass Otori der Schüler war, der ihn so begeistert hatte, weiß er gar nicht mehr wie er sich ihm gegenüber verhalten soll. Und auch Ageha ist aufgeregt endlich seinen verehrten "Gott" zu treffen und ihm zu beweisen, dass er für die Rolle im Stück geeignet ist …

The mood around the training camp has darkened considerably as everyone has noticed Ageha's absences at practice. After the shock of Haruto's scathing words Ageha has shut himself in his room and refuses to come out. No one feels Ageha's absence more than Hoshitani, who is concerned for a person he sees as a friend, but when he tries to speak with Ageha he is quickly turned away. Lamenting to his friends Hoshitani wonders if he can really do anything to help. The best advice comest from an unexpected source and Hoshitani is even determined to coax Ageha out of his room for sure.

Endlich konnte Hoshitani seinen Streit mit Ageha hinter sich legen, doch Nayuki, der stille Junge in der Gruppe, benimmt sich plötzlich seltsam ... Was steckt dahinter?

Suddenly being thrust into a main role has left Hoshitani reeling. While he is happy to finally be given the chance to perform on stage with his admired senpai, Otori, Hoshitani finds himself in an unusual slump when it comes to practicing the critical duet between Lambert and Alexis. No matter how many times they practice Hoshitani simply chokes in the middle of the song. His friends all assume it's just nerves but when Hoshitani mysteriously goes missing one day mild concern turns into panic as they each split up to find him. Will Hoshitani be able to shake off this slump and take on his new role as Lambert?

With only a few days left until the graduation celebration performance the final details begin to fall into place. Thanks to Hiragi's prior encouragement and the support of all the treasured items from his friends, Hoshitani has found the confidence to step into the role of Lambert and go after his dream. Spirits are high during dress rehearsal and the stage is set for an amazing performance. As the show gets underway everything proceeds smoothly until an accident behind the scenes potentially puts one of the performers and the fate of the show at risk.

Hoshitani has fallen into the trap room and injured his shoulder; yet, even in pain, he still wishes to continue on with the show despite the next scene involving a trying dance. Uozumi attempts to talk Hoshitani out of it ordering that Inumine go on in his place, however, once Inumine goes on stage, Hoshitani cannot take back the role. As Inumine readies himself to finish the play in Hoshitani's place, Ageha comes forward with a plan that would allow Hoshitani to go back out on stage, despite his injury. The fate of Hoshitani's dream and the finale of the show hangs in the balance...
3. STARMYU Season 3 (12 Episoden)
Endlich ist es so weit. Die Opening Ceremony steht an, aber Shiki-Senpai ist nirgendwo zu finden. Hatte er nicht versprochen, sich Hoshitanis Auftritt anzusehen?

Das neue Schuljahr beginnt und es steht der große Umzug ins neue Trainigsgebäude an. Den Umzug sollen die Zweitklässler durchführen, aber die haben darauf eigentlich wenig Lust.

Hoshitani und sein Team sind schockiert: sie werden von Team Hiiragi getrennt und sollen nun alleine klarkommen, während Team Hiiragi einen großen Auftritt bekommt. Enttäuscht zieht sich Hoshitani ins Amphitheater zurück, um dort nachzudenken ...

3. Akt
Hoshitani erklärt dem Kao-Rat den Krieg! Wenn sein Team keinen Platz in der Opening Ceremony bekommt, dann wird eben gestreikt. Doch dann bekommt er unerwartete Hilfe ...

Act 4
The plan of Hoshitani and the others to go on strike backfires, and, as a precaution, the Kao Council separates Team Hiragi from their friends. At a loss of what to do, the remaining company members are left feeling dejected, so Hoshitani takes off to go see the isolated Team Hiragi and his friends hear nothing else from him for the rest of the day. Meanwhile, within the monolithic Kao Council, Kasugano can't shake the sense of unease that he feels. He finds his attention drawn to Shiki, who is working extra hard in his position as leader.

Die Proben schreiten vorran und alles ist gut, doch als Shiki für ein paar Tage for ist, starfet Fuyusawa einen neuen Versuch, den Auftritt von Hoshitani zu verhindern und die Gruppe zu entzweien ..

Act 10
Opening Ceremony has been split into two stages. Rumors are spreading around the school that the Kao Council is divided and that Hoshitani and the other second-years are the cause. Shiki and Fuyusawa clash over their differences once again, and Fuyusawa angrily decides to take action. He completely calls into question Shiki's suitability to lead. "I'm with Shiki," Chiaki says, giving Fuyusawa one final warning now that he can no longer turn back.

Die Opening Ceremony steht kurz bevor und Hoshitani will mit den anderen einen Plan machen, wie Shiki und Fuyusawa sich wieder annähern können!
