Erinnerungsstücke
Nachdem auf der Heartland-Ranch eingebrochen wurde, realisiert Jack, dass die Diebe die Uhr seines Vaters gestohlen haben, und ungewollte Erinnerungen an ihre entfremdete Beziehung kommen hoch. Während die Stadt Logan und seine Freunde beschuldigt, die Täter hinter Hudsons fünf Überfällen zu sein, bringt Amy Logan zurück nach Heartland, um dort gemeinsam mit ihm an einem wilden Pferd zu arbeiten, in der Hoffnung, dass er so sein Talent zum Pferdeflüstern ausbauen kann. Als Lou vermutet, dass ihr Laptop vielleicht von den Dieben gestohlen wurde, realisiert sie, dass ihre Karriere als Bürgermeisterin auf dem Spiel steht, falls sensible Informationen ans Licht kommen sollten. Tim und Parker bilden ein ungleiches Team, um die gestohlenen Besitztümer der Familie zurückzubringen, doch lösen unfreiwillig das Rätsel, wer hinter der Serie an Diebstählen in der Stadt steckt.

Als Amy testen will, wie gut sich Shadow bei einem Viehtrieb schlägt, bringt ein unerwarteter Bärenangriff die beiden in Schwierigkeiten. Das zweite Mal
Was ursprünglich als kleine Party von Tim und Jessica geplant wurde, entwickelt sich bald zu etwas viel größerem, und Tim beschleunigt diesen Dominoeffekt. Das hat zur Folge dass Amy und Logan sich vollends anstrengen müssen, ihre Arbeit mit dem wilden Pferd zu beenden, damit Tim es Jessica schenken kann. Währenddessen hat Lou Schwierigkeiten, vor der Familie zu verstecken, dass eine alte Beziehung wieder neues Leben erhalten hat. Wenn Jade wieder in die Stadt zurückkehrt für die Hochzeit, schenken sie und Caleb sich Trost übe ihre geteilten Erfahrungen, ihr Privatleben mit ihren Karrieren zu vereinbaren.

Ein neuer Tag
Der Mann, der für Tys fatale Schusswunde verantwortlich war, kehrt zurück nach Hudson. Amy und der Rest der Familie kämpfen damit, wie sie damit umgehen sollen. Nachdem Tim versehentlich sein Pferd, Champ, in Gefahr bringt, sucht er Amy auf, um die Beziehung der Beiden zu retten. Währenddessen rekrutiert Jessica Katie und Parker, um mit einem anstrengenden Ranch-Gast zu helfen, während Lou unterwegs ist.

Dates und Wettbewerbe
In Hudson findet ein Holzfäller-Wettbewerb statt, und Amy muss ein Clydesdale-Pferd und seinen Besitzer nicht nur trainieren, um am Zugpferd-Rennen teilnehmen zu können, sondern auch dabei helfen, den verfrühten Ruhestand zu verhindern. Tim entscheidet sich, auch am Wettbewerb teilzunehmen, und Lou versucht, einem Date mit Fred Garland zu entkommen. Beides hat katastrophale Folgen.

Amy trägt Spartan in ein Ausdauerrennen ein nachdem sie realisiert, dass er noch nicht bereit für den Ruhestand ist. Jack ist entschlossen, ein stures, nicht eingerittenes Pferd z zähmen, entgegen den Befürchtungen der Familie, dass der Plan zu gefährlich ist. Amy kommt an eine moderate Summe Geld von eine unerwarteten Quelle und entscheidet sich, es an das Pferde Therapiecenter zu spenden. Sie benennt die Einrichtung um, i Gedenken an Ty. Währenddessen macht sich Tim Sorgen, als Jessica aus New York zurückkehrt und anscheinend etwas vor ihm geheim hält. Lisas Rennpläne befinden sich in der Schwebe nach einem Unfall und Lou trifft eine gravierende Entscheidung.
