Inhaltsbeschreibung
Die Neuseeländische Jugendserie The Tribe handelt von einer Gruppe Jugendlicher, die in der Zukunft auf sich selbst gestellt überleben müssen, nachdem ein Virus alle Erwachsenen getötet hat. Die Zuflucht
Niemand weiß, wo es herkam. Doch eines ist sicher – das heimtückische Virus hat nur Kinder und Jugendliche verschont. Ohne Erwachsene, ohne Regeln, ohne Energie und genügend Lebensmittel müssen die überlebenden jungen Leute nun versuchen, ihre eigene, neue Welt zu kreieren. Überall regiert das Prinzip des Stärkeren. In der Stadt hat eine Gang die Macht übernommen. Sie nennen sich die Locos und terrorisieren alle, die nicht zu ihnen gehören. So sind auch Amber und Dal ins Visier dieses Stammes geraten, aber sie können fliehen. Auf der Suche nach einem Versteck retten sie die kleine Cloe und ihre Freunde vor den Locos und finden eine Zuflucht in einem verlassenen Einkaufszentrum. Wenn sie jetzt überleben wollen, müssen sie zusammenhalten …

Freund oder Feind
Die Gruppe, die im Einkaufzentrum Zuflucht gefunden hat, wird von einem mysteriösen Unbekannten beobachtet. Ist ihnen schon einer der Locos auf die Spur gekommen? Amber überzeugt Dal, dass sie Cloe und die Kleinen auf gar keinen Fall im Stich lassen können. In einer Gruppe wollen sie alles miteinander teilen und gemeinsam eine Zukunft aufbauen

Die Abstimmung
Patsy und Paul, die immer hungrig sind, haben entdeckt, dass Jack einen Vorrat an Lebensmitteln hortet. Sie versprechen, ihn nicht zu verraten, wenn er mit ihnen teilt. Derweil lüftet Bray sein Geheimnis. Er hat den Stamm heimlich beobachtet, um einen sicheren Ort für die schwangere Trudy zu finden, damit sie dort ihr Baby zur Welt bringen kann. Aber werden die Mall-Rats sie auch wirklich aufnehmen? Es kommt zur Abstimmung …

Die Geburt
Trudy hat bereits starke Wehen – doch Lex glaubt noch immer, dass sie ihm etwas vorspielt. Aber die Wehen werden immer stärker. Da steht Bray der angstvollen Trudy bei. Es werden lange Stunden des Wartens: Ryan fängt an, die Kleinen zum Glücksspiel zu animieren, während Cloe sich nur um ihr Kälbchen kümmert, das sie gerade vor den Locos gerettet hat. Dal bietet mutig an, die sichere Zuflucht zu verlassen, um Nahrung und Bekleidung für das Neugeborene aufzutreiben. Doch wohin ist eigentlich Bray verschwunden?

Wo ist Bray?
Als Bray am nächsten Tag immer noch nicht zurück ist, fragen sich alle, ob er Trudy, ihr Baby und die anderen einfach im Stich gelassen hat. Trudy kann die Kleine nicht stillen, denn ihr Fieber steigt und es geht ihr sehr schlecht. Lex ist nun immer mehr davon überzeugt, dass Bray in Wahrheit doch zu den Locos gehört und das Versteck des Stammes verrät. Als das Essen und das Wasser immer knapper werden, stellt Amber einen Rationierungsplan auf. Trudys Zustand wird derweil sehr ernst. Dal weiß, wo er Antibiotika findet. Aber dazu muss er wieder die sichere Zuflucht des Einkaufszentrums verlasen...

Das Geheimnis
Dal ist auf dem Weg ins Krankenhaus. Er hofft, dort Medikamente für Trudy zu finden. Er ahnt nicht, dass im alten Büro seines Vaters auch Erinnerungen auf ihn warten. Derweil kümmert Amber sich um die kranke Trudy, da Bray immer noch verschwunden ist! Salene versucht, Wasser zu bekommen, damit sie das Baby waschen kann. Doch niemand will von seiner Ration etwas abgeben, bis auf Lex. Von ihm hätte sie diese Großzügigkeit am wenigsten erwartet. Sollte sie sich wirklich in ihm getäuscht haben?

Ist Bray ein Verräter?
Die Stimmung im Tribe ist äußerst angespannt. Trudy geht es kaum besser, und Dal macht sich große Sorgen um sie. Ryan hat ganz andere Sorgen, jemand hat sein Geld, das er so gut versteckt hatte, gestohlen. Lex setzt alles daran, Trudy, Bray und das Baby loszuwerden. Das ist aber noch nicht alles, was will Bray von Trudy, wen soll sie unbedingt treffen?

Der Unfall
Bray versucht, Zoot unbemerkt in die Mall zu bringen. Doch Paul spürt eine Gefahr und alarmiert die anderen. Lex entdeckt Trudy, Bray und Zoot und stürzt sich auf sie. Zoot entkommt, doch Lex greift nun Bray an. Es kommt zu einem tragischen Unfall...

Ratten
Bray zieht Salene ins Vertrauen und erzählt ihr von seinem Bruder, wie er früher einmal war und was passiert ist. Als sie in die Küche geht, um Tee zu kochen, entdeckt sie Ratten. So kann es nicht weitergehen. Amber erstellt einen Dienstplan und verteilt die unterschiedlichen Pflichten. Das sorgt für weitere Unruhe unter den Stammesmitgliedern, besonders die Jungs sind überhaupt nicht begeistert.

Die Wahl
Salene fühlt sich angegriffen, jemand hat eine Bemerkung über eine schlechte Mutter an die Wand gemalt. Sie bezieht das auf sich, doch Bray weiß, dass eigentlich Trudy gemeint ist. Er weiß auch, wer es geschrieben hat: Lex. Die Situation eskaliert beinahe, doch Amber und Zandra trennen Bray und Lex. Eins wird durch dieses Ereignis klar, der Tribe braucht dringend einen Anführer. Doch Bray weigert sich, gegen Lex anzutreten. Also beschließt Amber, sich neben Lex zur Wahl aufstellen zu lassen.

While the Mall Rats try to carry on after suffering two devastating losses, a strange cult dedicated to Zoot arrives on the shores near the City.

Episode 2
The Mall Rats arrive back home, despondent and still reeling from their loss. Lex, Tai-San and Ebony bring the antidote to the Mall, while Bray brings Danni.

Episode 3
The Mall Rats find themselves harassed by kids desperate for the antidote. Following her destruction of the formula, Tai-San searches for herbs to create her own version of it while the Chosen continue their journey to the City.

Episode 4
Just as the gang are preparing to flee the Mall, Tai-San claims that she has made the antidote. Trudy feels increasingly alone, while an enraged Alice and others arrive at the Mall demanding the real antidote.

Episode 5
Alice takes Tai-San hostage until she is sure that Ellie is on the mend, and when she is, the two sisters decide to move to the Mall, with Alice becoming Tai-San's bodyguard. Meanwhile, the Chosen arrive in the City.

Episode 6
Alice appoints Dal as Chief of the farm in her absence, while Bray and Danni begin arranging a meeting of tribe leaders. The Chosen arrive in the City and move in on the Mall Rats.

Episode 7
Bray, Danni and Ebony attend the meeting of tribe leaders, which goes well until the Chosen arrive and frighten away the other leaders. Meanwhile, Alice becomes concerned about Tai-San, who begins exhibiting symptoms of the Virus.

Episode 8
Alice is increasingly worried by Tai-San's continued illness, while Jack and Ellie search for answers about the Virus much to Danni's annoyance. Trudy appoints Patsy as Brady's official child minder, with disastrous results.

Episode 9
Trudy is distraught following Brady's kidnapping, with Patsy fleeing to escape her wrath. Tai-San is in a critical condition after an explosion in the laboratory and Alice is determined to find proof that KC was behind it.

Episode 10
Tai-San has woken from her coma, but is suffering from amnesia. Still distraught, Trudy is outraged by the warm welcome Patsy receives when she returns to the Mall, and the video Jack and Ellie discovered proves to be highly significant.

The Mall Rats are in chains, with Bray and Lex initially presumed dead. However, Ebony soon finds and leads them to safety, but the others, starved and increasingly desperate, are not quite as lucky.

With Bray captured, Ebony and Lex are unsure what their next step should be, and finally meet the enigmatic figure who has been stalking them. Trudy tries to convince Bray to join the Chosen, while the rest of the tribe struggle on.

Ellie is guilt stricken about what happened to Jack, Ebony is strangely unwilling to talk about the female leader of Pride's tribe, and the Guardian tries to break Bray's will.

The City is in chaos after the appearance of the airplane. No-one knows who these new arrivals are or what they want. Meanwhile, Amber is in labor and completely alone.

The remaining Mall Rats band together to find out what is going on, while Trudy helps Amber deliver her baby. Salene finds a little girl close to the Mall and takes her home, but someone is watching her.

Episode 3
The City's tribes hold a crisis meeting to decide what to do about the invading Technos. Meanwhile, Ellie goes to the farm to look for Alice, Dee makes a mistake, and Amber and Trudy have to get by without Bray.

Episode 4
Ved is in trouble after losing his communicator, while Ram tracks its signal to the Mall. Jack has a breakthrough about the source of the Technos' power, and Amber makes a decision about her and baby Bray's future.

Lex is angry when his shrine to Tai-San is robbed, Jay is sent to deal with Ebony, while Ellie is devastated by Jack's capture, and Amber and Trudy are still on their trek to find the Ecos.

While the Mall Rats plan their attack, Ebony secretly strikes a deal with Jay. Cloe feels babied by Salene, and Java and Siva make a discovery.

As per Jay's instructions, Ebony has to convince the other tribes to co-operate with the Technos, while Java and Siva secretly plot to eliminate her. Ellie is despondent about Jack and Alice, and Pride finds Cloe's love note.

Ebony walks into Java and Siva's trap, Pride has difficulty finding food for the tribe, and Ellie's depression makes her consider suicide.

The food situation is increasingly dire, with Lex predicting an end to supplies reaching the City. Java and Siva reveal their history with Ebony, Ved gets in trouble again, and Ellie helps the kids come out of their shell.

The failed bomb attempt leads Ebony to investigate, and it seems Pride may have something to hide. Cloe and Dee get their own back on Ved, while Salene finally convinces the kids to reveal their names.

The Locos' police car reappears in the City, and as Ebony's nightmares continue, Trudy has one as well. Lex tries to keep the peace, Mega and Java collaborate further, and Ram is delirious at Ruby's saloon.

The Mall Rats bury Pride. Ebony and her sisters spread Zoot's message across the City, with Java happy and Siva increasingly concerned, Mega preys on May's guilt, and Ram opens up about his past.
