A fallen flower pot brings Gong Shim and Dan-tae together for the first time. She’s wary of his roguish ways, but their paths keep crossing somehow.

A gas station assault has Gong Shim consulting Dan-tae on a lawsuit despite Gong Mi’s meddling. Later, Gong Shim runs into Jun-su at a job interview.

On her first day at work, Gong Shim is roped into investigating Dan-tae by Dae-hwang who's seen him with Chair Nam. She calls Dan-tae for a drink.

At Dan-tae’s office, Yeom Tae-cheol gets the fright of a lifetime. Gong Mi is offered to join a legal team and is invited to Jun-su’s grand opening.

Gong Shim heads to Jeju Island. After apologizing to Chair Nam for failing to locate Joon-pyo, Dan-tae lifts a clue from his recurring nightmares.

Gong Mi requests Dan-tae to keep her sibling status a secret. Gong Shim is assisted by Dan-tae during her pursuit of the greedy Jeju branch manager.

Dan-tae sucht fieberhaft nach der Person, die seinen Vater ins Koma gebracht hat. Doch die akribische Vorgehensweise des Täters gibt ihm Rätsel auf. Unterdessen nimmt Shim an einem Wettbewerb teil, um das Maskottchen für das örtliche Oktopus-Restaurant zu entwerfen. Das traut sie sich nur, weil Dan-tae sie in ihrem Zeichentalent bestärkt hat.

Jun-su wacht nach einer durchzechten Nacht bei Dan-tae auf. Eine Notiz, die sie in seinem Kalender hinterlassen hat, versetzt ihm einen Schock. Shim kann ihre Gefühle für Dan-tae inzwischen nicht mehr verbergen und setzt alles daran, ihren Schwarm zu erobern. Auf Gong Cheols Wunsch hin verreist sie mit Dan-tae, um für einen anderen Restaurantbesitzer ein Wandgemälde zu malen.

Dan-tae findet heraus, dass Shim nun in Jun-sus Firma arbeitet. Es gefällt ihm gar nicht, dass sie und Jun-su sich jetzt ständig sehen werden. Währenddessen freut sich Tae-cheol, dass sein Plan, Dan-tae und Jun-su zu entzweien, aufgeht. Er ist davon überzeugt, dass alles wie geplant verläuft.

Ein Handlanger von Tae-cheol versucht, Shim nach der Arbeit zu überfahren. Jun-su wird Zeuge des Vorfalls und ist schockiert. Dan-tae möchte Shim unterdessen bitten, ihn in die USA zu begleiten, aber das ist für ihn alles andere als einfach.
