Since the death of his wife, time has all but stopped for Keisuke and his 20-year-old daughter. Then one day, a strange girl barges into their home.

Episode 2
Fully convinced that Marika is the reincarnation of his wife, Keisuke feels happier than he has in years. Meanwhile, Mai goes on her first group date.

One Step Forward
Mai starts working at a new job but gets depressed after struggling to connect with her first client. To cheer her up, Takae invites her to see a fireworks show. Keisuke decides to stop by as well and happens to bump into his coworker Moriya on the way.

Episode 4
Keisuke und Mai lernen Marikas Mutter kennen, die ganz und gar nicht so ist, wie sie sie erwartet haben. Marika merkt, dass sie nicht mehr so zeichnen kann wie früher.

Mother and Family
Takae is nervous to tell Keisuke and Mai about Chika's plans to move and remarry, but the two take the news fairly well since the family will still be able to meet. Takae tries to stay positive about the move and hopes it will bring her mother happiness.

Episode 6
While Chika struggles with her new reality, Marika finds that as memories of Takae’s life take root in her mind, memories of her own life start to fade.

Episode 7
Yuri takes Keisuke, Mai — and even Marika — to visit his lonely mother. While reuniting with relatives, Marika hears about how much they miss Takae.

Die letzten zwölf Monate sind aus Marikas Gedächtnis verschwunden. Für Chika bedeutet das, sie hat ihre Tochter zurück! Jetzt will sie alles richtig machen und bittet die Nijimas um Hilfe. Ihre Freude währt jedoch nicht lang, was Takae das Herz zerbricht.

Episode 9
While Marika and Chika make a fresh start, time stops once again for Keisuke, Mai and Yuri as they fall into renewed mourning for Takae.

Marika (aka Takae) bittet Mai und Renji um einen Probedurchlauf ihrer Hochzeit. Danach fasst sie einen Entschluss und auch Keisuke hat sich entschieden, weshalb er mit Mai Essen gehen möchte.
