In Jellystone Park träumt Yogibär von nichts anderem, als so viele ahnungslose Touristen wie möglich auszutricksen und ihre geliebten Picknickkörbe zu stibitzen, während er dem stets gereizten Ranger Smith immer einen Schritt voraus ist. Yogis kleiner Kumpel Boo Boo versucht, Yogi aus Schwierigkeiten herauszuhalten, was ihm aber nur selten gelingt. Das ist nicht so schlimm, denn selbst Ranger Smith kann dem liebenswerten, unwiderstehlichen Yogibär nicht lange böse sein.

Yogi is afraid that he'll ruin the show, but at the last minute he discovers that it's actually a surprise birthday tribute for him and that he doesn't have to do anything. The "guests" who show up to honor Yogi include Ranger Smith, Huckleberry Hound, Quick Draw McGraw and Baba Looey, Pixie and Dixie and Mr. Jinks, Snooper and Blabber, Snagglepuss, Hokey Wolf and Ding-A-Ling, Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy, Cindy Bear, Boo Boo, and Yakky Doodle.
