Inhaltsbeschreibung
Frisch auf der Highschool und aufgrund eines beruflichen Umzugs seiner Eltern nun auch erstmals unabhängig in einem Wohnheim; Kazunari sieht sich in einen neuen Lebensabschnitt eintreten und alles, was ihm jetzt eigentlich noch fehlt, ist eine Freundin. Intelligent und kultiviert soll sie sein und - wie es der Zufall so will ‒ trifft Kazunari in der Schulbibliothek genau auf solch ein Mädchen, in das er sich auf den ersten Blick verliebt. Noch beschwingt von diesem Vorfall tritt er nach der Schule seinen ersten Gang in das neues Wohnheim an, nur um feststellen zu müssen, dass er sich dort ein Zimmer mit einem Perversen teilen soll. Sein Vorhaben, seinem neuen Domizil gleich wieder den Rücken zu kehren, wird jedoch schnell verworfen, als er beim Verlassen vor der Tür unerwartet auf das Mädchen aus der Bibliothek trifft. Sie stellt sich als Ritsu vor, eine der Bewohnerinnen des Hauses.

Usas Eltern bekommen eine neue Arbeitsstelle, wodurch er endlich seinen Traum vom unabhängigen Leben verwirklichen kann. Doch seine Hoffnungen werden schnell zunichtegemacht, als er mit dem anzüglichen Verhalten seines lüsternen Nachbarn Shirosaki konfrontiert wird. It's a long holiday, but the unfortunate residents of the Kawai Complex have no plans. Usa is sitting around with nothing to do and Mayumi is moping around, but Shiro has a surprise for them.

Usa has gotten used to life at the Kawai Complex, but he hasn't gotten any closer to the resident who's always on his mind, Ritsu. As Usa stresses over his lack of progress, life at the Kawai Complex goes on. One day, Mayumi's ex-boyfriend calls her. Despite the fact that he was three-timing her at one point, Mayumi decides to meet with him.

The Kawai Complex residents (really just Mayumi, Sayaka, and Shiro) are fooling around in the living room as usual. Amidst the chaos, Ritsu's lips and Usa's arm connect. Ritsu's face is bright red as she storms out of the room. The next morning, she is still noticeably unsettled, which Usa finds very endearing.

The phone in the Kawai Complex rings. It's a call from the police station for Shiro. The residents think that he's finally being arrested, but that isn't the case (Whew). It turns out that the police have located the owner of the wallet he found earlier and the owner was coming to the Kawai Complex to thank him.

Sumiko is worried about Ritsu because of her tendency to be absorbed in a book as she walks around, so she forbids her from reading while walking back from school. After helping out at the cafe where Usa works, the residents of Kawai Complex sit down for tea, with the exception of Shiro, who stands outside in an attempt to get sunstroke. That is when Ghost Whisperer Hayashi appears. She's come to apologize for how she treated Usa previously.
