Inhaltsbeschreibung

Die Geschichte spielt in der Shiomi Akademie, einer riesigen, repräsentablen Akademie mit einer sog. Daitoshokan (jap. "große Bibliothek"), welche selbst Japans Nationalbibliothek Konkurrenz macht. Als ein Mitglied des Bibliothekklubs, geht Kyoutarou Kakei regelmäßig in die Daitoshokan, um das lesen zu genießen. Dort trifft er ein Mädchen im zweiten Jahr der Oberstufe, namens Tsugumi Shirasaki, durch die Bemühungen eines sog. "Shepherds", der die Wünsche der Menschen erfüllt. Schließlich treten immer mehr Mädchen dem Club bei, dank des "Shepherds".
