Alex Kane is sent to stop a diamond heist and runs into an old colleague that wants information. Mr. Johnson and Cassandra King intervene and threaten to call off the bets. Finally, Kane attends Ginny's funeral and uncovers some shocking evidence about her murder.

Alex enlists a friend to investigate Ginny's murder even further, but Mr. Johnson intervenes. Meanwhile, Kane and Cassandra head to the city of angels to stop a sniper from executing a drug cartel's plan for revenge. Savvy student Solomon attempts to hack the Pentagon and ends up simultaneously being chased by the Chinese government and the House. The bets are in on whether Alex Kane can get to him first to keep him safe. Meanwhile, Mr. Johnson is encountering issues of his own with an old friend and is forced to take drastic measures. Also, new discoveries are made about Ginny's whereabouts.
