Hopeful entrepreneurs and inventors need to keep their wits about them when they enter the Den, an austere warehouse space that can trap the careless and unwary. Their task is to pitch a business venture to the Dragons, five successful and wealthy investment gurus with a fiery reputation for distinguishing between the wheat (the valuable) and the chaff (the worthless). Each contestant is determined to walk out with at least one of the Dragons on board, in the form of a lucrative cash offer in return for a share of the profits. But the visitors have to be sharp on the details. These millionaire prospective partners have a track record of building successful companies and are quick to spot any flaws or problems in the business plans, in the products and in the likely market reaction of the buying public.
