Multi-award-winning actor, singer and writer Billy Porter is renowned for his groundbreaking work in theatre, television and music. Billy has amassed numerous accolades throughout his career, including a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his role as Lola in Kinky Boots (2013), a Grammy Award for best musical theatre album for the show's cast recording, and an Emmy Award for outstanding lead actor in a drama series for his portrayal of Pray Tell in the television series Pose. This week, his role is to judge the MUAs' work on the Kit Kats in West End hit musical Cabaret, in which he stars as Emcee. He is joined by the other current lead in the show, American-born British actress and singer Marisha Wallace. Marisha has graced both Broadway and the West End stages. Her notable roles include Effie White in Dreamgirls (West End), Motormouth Maybelle in Hairspray (London Coliseum) and Becky in Waitress (West End). She gained an Olivier Award nomination for best actress in a supporting role in a musical for her performance in Oklahoma! But what will she think of the MUAs' looks this week? Cabaret's very own make-up designer Guy Common tasks the MUAs with recreating his characterful designs for the show on five of the iconic Kit Kats. The MUAs must bring to life each long-lasting look that can withstand energetic performances under hot lighting, while also being visible from up in the gods. For some MUAs, the challenge of creating a bold "up-all-night" look proves tricky, with patterns of perfection being difficult to let go of. The backstage buzz and pressure ramps up as the MUAs rush to complete their looks ahead of curtain call, especially when the surprise guest judges pop in to take a peek as the looks take shape. Which of our MUAs will have done enough to take a bow, and who will break a leg? The next day at Glow Up Studios, the bottom two MUAs find themselves in the red chairs with 15 minutes less than the other make-up artists to complete their looks. This week's theme is decadence, and the judges are asking for indulgent, rich and luxurious make-up. Whilst some MUAs embrace the darker side of decadence, creating looks inspired by societal downfall and overindulgence, others find inspiration from favourite sweet treats and even sweeter memories from their childhood. Whose decadent delights earn them a well-deserved Ding Dong, and who will find their designs leaving a lot to be desired? The bottom two MUAs find themselves in the Face-Off elimination, desperate to keep their place in the competition ahead of the semi-finals. They are tasked to create the perfect doll eye, with focus on precise symmetry and perfect placement. With only ten minutes to complete their looks, the tension rises, and a spot in the semi-finals all comes down to a tiny detail...
