Der Film des 1993 unter nicht ganz geklärten Umständen verstorbenen Regisseurs Maroun Bagdadi ("Nacht ohne Ende") beruht auf der authentischen Geschichte von Nadine Vaujour, der es 1986 gelang, ihren Mann per Hubschrauber aus einem Pariser Gefängnis zu befreien. Neben der brisanten, kompromisslos und realistisch inszenierten Kriminalstory entfaltet Bagdadi das Porträt einer starken, selbstbewussten Frau, von Frankreichs Erotik-Star Béatrice Dalle ("Betty Blue - 37,2 Grad am Morgen", "Lola im Technoland") eindrucksvoll gespielt.
